First Date

Dating is not what it used to be anymore. It got more difficult and complicated in a more complex society. Many people nowadays are better alone than with someone if they can’t find a person to match their expectations. And expectations have grown bigger when it comes to pick a partner for life. Dating is very important and the first impression is the key element to whether it is going any further or not.

Always be prepared: women prefer men who know what they want and have a plan. If the guy makes an effort to plan things for the first date, it’s a sign of real interest, which a girl will certainly appreciate. Don’t hesitate to be creative. Think outside of the box.

No expectations means no disappointment. Don’t build any scenarios or patterns about your date. Just take the person as it is and enjoy the time spent together, without thinking too far in the future. Everyone has something to learn from and this can only enrich your life experience. Don’t worry about the date working out or not. This is what dates are about: trying.

Look your best. The effort that you take to make yourself look good will show your interest in the other person. Personal hygiene is the first thing on the list.

Body language. Don’t worry much about topics to discuss. Whatever nonsense you talk about, it is important how you say it. Most of our communications happens through body language and tone of the voice and just a small percent stands in words. Just have confidence, be yourself and be relaxed. Smiling is important.

Show interest. This doesn’t mean you should jump on the other person, but some little flirting won’t do any wrong. It can be a look or a slight touch of the hand or on the shoulder. Just don’t take any action unless you are sure the other person show interest in you as well.
